The nine time Olivier Award-winning production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child today announced that it will remain closed in the West End until at least February 2021.
The news was released on social media, announcing that in light of the UK government’s recent advice, the cancellation of all performances at London’s Palace Theatre will be extended to Sunday 21st February 2021. For further information, you can visit the production’s official website here.
The show has regularly sold out since opening in 2016 to huge critical acclaim and the show’s success has seen further productions open around the world, including on Broadway where it swept the Tony Awards. The news will be a further blow to West End audiences and Harry Potter fans alike.
