Regents Park 2021 season announced

It’s a treat these days to have good news for our theatres, and there’s simply nothing more exciting than this week’s announcement of the 2021 season for the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park.

Headlining is Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic tale of broken love, loss and redemption, Carousel. With gorgeous melodies, ravashing orchestrations and one of the most tear-jerking endings of any 20th Century musical, this gem of a show is sure to transport you from the troubles of 2020 and into a glorious new year of theatrical escapism. The cast is yet to be announced but the production will be directed by Timothy Sheader (Little Shop of Horrors) with choreography by Drew McOnie (Jesus Christ Superstar).

The season will also include a new musical version of 101 Dalmatians by Douglas Hodge, Romeo & Juliet directed by Kimberley Sykes and a spectacular new family show, Dragons and Mythical Beasts (from the creators of Dinosaur World Live).
