Things are really looking up for the West End. Just when it looked like Panto was doomed, Producers Qdos rode to the rescue with Pantoland at the Palladium! It was the London Palladium which was chosen as a test venue earlier in the year to trial re-opening a major West End venue with social distancing and a Covid-safe environment welcoming audiences back to Theatreland, so audience can rest assured they’ll be in very safe hands.
The home of pantomime will throw open its doors on 12th December for three festive weeks, welcoming back panto favourites Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers and Gary Wilmot alongside Ashley Banjo & Diversity and Charlie Stemp. Making their Palladium Panto debuts will be West End superstar Beverley Knight and star of Joseph & The Technicolor Dreamcoat Jac Yarrow.
Qdos Pantomimes is the world’s biggest pantomime producer, and while this isn’t a traditional panto, you can be sure that all the usual elements will be there – innuendo, spectacular routines, lavish costumes – and bags and bags of fun for everyone! Just the tonic after the year we’ve all had!
