LONDON THEATRES

The list of which theatres are deemed “West End” depends on which definition is used. For example, the two large theatres in the Victoria area (the Apollo Victoria and Victoria Palace) are not truly in the West End in terms of geography, but are considered “West End”. Conversely, the Charing Cross Theatre is not considered a West End theatre but most certainly is within the West End. You could be forgiven for feeling confused.

For the purposes of convention, we’ve split theatres into two categories: West End Theatres and Other Venues. Other venues are those either within the West End geographically or outside the geographical West End but with a significant reputation.
