Our team is entertaining experienced passionate

Niall Palmer: Founder/Tour Guide

I set up West End Guides because I know what it’s like to be new to a city, trying to work out how everything works. I moved to London in 1996 and after several years getting terribly lost, I eventually learned to navigate London’s chaotic street layout and have never looked back. I adore our magical, historic, crazy, fascinating city. After years working in and around theatres, in 2001 I joined the team at TKTS and for the next 14 years, that became my life. I saw so many shows that it now feels like a free university education in world class theatre. Absolutely nothing beats sharing your passion with others – and that’s why I founded West End Guides.

First show I ever saw? Starlight Express – and it changed my life forever

First professional show: Me & My Girl

Funniest theatre experience: It’s got to be Behind The Iron Mask – the best “worst musical” ever!

Show I’d travel back in time to see again and again: Crazy for You! at the Prince Edward Theatre

Favourite West End Theatre: The Shaftesbury holds a very special place in my heart

What would you do if you didn’t work in theatre? Sorry, I don’t understand? Why would you want to do anything else?

Roxie Hart: Tour Guide

After killing my first husband and a lengthy spell in prison, I though, “hell, I’d better get a proper job”. And here I am!

First show I ever saw? The Student Prince

First professional show: Chicago

Funniest theatre experience: Being on trial night after night

Show I’d travel back in time to see again and again: Cabaret

Favourite West End Theatre: The Adelphi – my first home.

What would you do if you didn’t work in theatre? I guess I’d be in prison.
